· JDC Neutral Grounding Resistor
Th Neutral Grounding Resistor is a Current limiting electrical protection equipment which connects among Generator, The neutral point of Transformer and Earth. The voltage at the neutral point of the power supply will deviate when power system has fault, especially in the power system while supplied by electric cables, when the fault current greater than the specified value, it will has bad damage to the insulation equipment and finally leads to blackout accident.
The purpose of using Neutral Grounding Resistor is to inject resistive current into the fault point, and lower the fault current so make sure the overvoltage to a limited value, finally to protect the whole power system
